These are all of my Macro photos, which I took using the digital macro setting on my camera. My first photo is of a match that I'm holding. It was hard to get a good picture before the flame burnt out so I had to use several different matches until I got a decent picture. I edited the contrast using photoshop. I think that the focal point is definetely the flame because it stands out and is brighter than the rest of the picture. I was frustrated that I couldn't get my camera to focus on the flame instead of my fingers more. My second picture is of my Christmas tree with all of the lights on. I thought they looked really pretty so I took a picture. the focal point is the closest orange light because it appears bigger and brighter than all of the others. My third picture is of my calculator and I got the focus to be on the numbers in the center. My fourth picture is my favorite. It is of my french homework and I focused on the word "musicienne" which means musician. I thought it was a good word to focus on because I love music. I used photoshop to edit out a mark that I had made on the paper. What do you think I could have done differently to the first two pictures?
